An entire curriculum for kindergarten! Literacy, math, science and socials studies are all included. Literacy is taught through the Science of Reading approach, which has been vetted for decades and has shown amazing success in the classroom. Little Shoes Academy strives to bring this approach into the home as well. This kindergarten curriculum encompasses every element for reading instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, heart words (sight words), fluency and comprehension. The content is presented through engaging learning activities that hit the sweet spot of teaching new concepts at an effective instructional level without provoking frustration.
